Happy September everyone!
The cafe opens at 10am Tuesday & Wednesday this week.
Baby group is on today for pre-walkers 10-11.30ish. All welcome.
Thursday back to school & so normal hours resume 8.30-4.30.

Can’t wait to see all our school families back & welcome the new 🥰

I’m busy baking already. Good old fashioned school cake in the oven as I type 😋

And we will continue the kids meal free with an adult meal until they go back to school on Thursday.
Plus lots of other specials.

And the sun is shining! ☀️☀️☀️

Ok guys
Bank holiday lunch special-
Griddled chicken breast served with toasted flatbread & home-made minted whipped feta & rocket. (Swap out bread for salad gf option) Comes in at a whopping 50+grams of protein!
Minted pea soup with optional extras
Bacon & tomato quiche

We baked a lot of cakes after a busy few days & now need to sell them before the end of the day- all cakes at 2014 prices (when we opened) £2.50 😁

Grrr came in to this mess this morning! However at least that’s the extent of the damage, it looks like they might have tried the back door but that’s pretty solid & we have bars on all the back windows.
Anyhow… hubby is busy tidying it & the garden will be (literally) open 9.30-4.30 today ❤️
Don’t forget we are closed this bank holiday weekend.

Since we opened our (very popular) homemade soups have been made gf* vegan & without the use of fat/oil, however I think we’ve all moved on & now realise that (good) fats are actually not only great as part of a healthy diet but tasty too… and so although we’ll keep the making of the soups the same you will now be offered optional extras.
Today’s soup is a thick cauliflower & leek with the option of crumbled feta, garlic croutons & a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. ❤️
And now I’m back in the gym after holidays… let’s get some more healthy dishes on the menu. Ideas welcome. Watch this space 💋
