Our first customers of the day ready and waiting at the door! Rupert and Tigga just wanted to let you all know the roads to the cafe are open despite lots of road signs out. Remember we are air conditioned too so if you need a respite from the cooker and heat call in and see us . Open as normal 9-4

Happy Monday everyone -what a view to do some admin! I also wanted to say a huge thankyou we have had the busiest weekend in business so far. Thank you to everyone who was patient when our small kitchen takes a little time to prepare the very best food with love for you all. It was lovely to welcome these guys on their adventure pedalling with purpose the length of the UK. Cycling 1000 miles is tricky enough but when you have cerebral palsy it’s definitely a challenge but I have no doubt Chloe her dad and brothers will succeed with a smile on their faces supported by their wonderful mum and of course Koda! There’s something special about finding a heart-shaped potato ❤️🥔

At The Chestnut Tree, we believe every potato deserves its place. Big, small, wonky or heart-shaped – they all become part of our delicious homemade chips.

Our potatoes are grown in our farm and neighbouring farm, keeping it local from field to fork and reducing food waste along the way.
