A small update from me☕️🖤

I’ve managed to hold prices for 18 months, despite pretty much everything I buy and every service i use increasing in cost.

I’ve always chosen quality first — coffee beans alone cost us more than double standard wholesale beans — and i don’t want to compromise on that.

Unfortunately, with costs continuing to rise, including increased taxes for small businesses and our flat-rate VAT costs

So from 1st October, there will be a small increase on some prices.

But I’m also:
🍰 FREEZING cake & pastry prices
♻️ KEEPING current drink prices when you bring a reusable takeaway cup
❤️ REMOVING the tip option from our till

I hope that feels fair. The increases really are small, and they simply allow us to keep doing what we do, with the products and quality i believe in.

Thank you for supporting my little independent coffee shop — I’m incredibly grateful for every one of you. ☕️🖤

South Street Coffee Co is built on repeat customers, and I’m so lucky to have so many. 🤎

Some we see daily, some weekly, and so many new faces soon become familiar ones.

To every regular and every new customer who walks through the door — thank you for choosing us and continuing to come back. It genuinely means so much. ☕️🤎

☕️📚 A lovely little surprise today…

A big thank you to the local publishers Summersdale Publishers for popping into the shop today and very kindly gifting me a copy of their book, ‘But First, Coffee’ 🤎

We already have a few Summersdale books in the shop for you to pick up and have a flick through while enjoying your coffee, it was a lovely coincidence when one of their team happened to call in for a coffee a while back and see them !

Even nicer, they popped back in today with this little treat for us. 🥰

We absolutely love it and it’s found the perfect home at South Street Coffee Co. Make sure you have a look through it next time you’re in! ☕️📖

And even better to support local — Summersdale are based just down the road in Chichester. 🙌

Thanks again Summersdale Publishers 🤎
