Time for a shameless plug. You will all know our daughter Órla Jones Performs . She is playing Catriona in Edinburgh Days - The Musical at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the whole of August. Would be great if you could catch the show. We are very proud indeed and thanks to our staff will manage to see the show tonight.

IT'S SHOWTIME!! After months of hard work and preparation Edinburgh Days - The Musical 2026 opens tonight! Sending every good wish to the cast, crew and audience for a fantastic opening night. As the first 3 nights (4th, 5th and 6th August) are Preview shows very special ticket prices are available (details when you book online). A massive Thank you to our wonderful customers who visited us this weekend. My goodness you really do love ❤️ So much so the amazing team at Porrelli Ice-Cream delivered our order a day early to ensure we had ice cream in our freezers for you. A true reflection on how the team in Paisley go above and beyond 🥰
Also to ask a question.. white chocolate ice cream we started serving it yesterday. I was a wrong click on the computer meant it was delivered to us. But its gone down very well indeed! Should we rotate this flavour in to our stock? Let us know.

A massive Happy Birthday to 🥰 As you know she works in our family businesses but she is a busy lady. In Rehearsals for playing Catriona and also working with on Henry House where she plays Izzy .dufffy met with her to talk over why she joined as story consultant and is pleased to back Orla as leading lady. We are very proud of our hardworking Orla.
We are off out as an LJs core family meal tonight but our wonderful staff will look after you. We are grateful to have such a fine bunch. Open 11 til 8pm 7 days a week

Its going to be a busy weekend not just for the shop in Elie but also for our ice cream cart attending Silverburn Street Food Festival on Saturday and Sunday. Our cart will have of course Porrelli Ice-Cream also sorbet, made to order waffles bites and not forgetting The Road End strawberries and melted chocolate cups 🥰 Many other fine food providers will be there too. Elie Getaways has many change overs too so a full on fabulous weekend awaits us. Its all go!
