Wow. Just WOW! ❀️

When we launched our search for six photographs to become artwork at Teddy’s, we knew Elgin was photogenic… but we certainly weren’t prepared for the hundreds of incredible photographs that came our way!

Thank you to every single person who picked up their camera and showed us Elgin through their eyes. From familiar landmarks to hidden corners, architecture, streetscapes and moments from days gone by β€” you’ve highlighted just how beautiful Elgin really is. πŸ–€

Our brief was:

πŸ“· Unusual angles
πŸ–€ Black & white
πŸ•°οΈ A vintage, nostalgic feeling
πŸ›οΈ Recognisably Elgin
✨ And, most importantly, a photograph that made us stop and look twice.

Choosing just six was seriously difficult.

But after much deliberation, we are delighted to reveal the six photographs that will take pride of place on the walls of Teddy’s.

This is the final call for the over 18s FOH team members to join Teddy’s opening team.

We’re looking for servers, bartenders, baristas and all-round brilliant front-of-house people who want to be part of something special from the very beginning.

Because this is more than just a job.

You’ll be part of the team that opens Teddy’s doors, sets the standards and creates the culture from day one. The team people remember. The team that can look back and say, β€œWe were there at the start.”

We want people who are fiercely proud of what they do β€” and an employer who is just as fiercely proud of them.

Show us this beautiful town through your lens. Whether it's hidden architectural details, iconic landmarks from a fresh perspective, or atmospheric street scenes, we want photographs that make people stop and look twice.

Terms & Conditions
Entry is free and open to amateur and professional photographers.
Photographs must be taken by the person entering.
Images should be high resolution (suitable for printing).
Images should predominantly feature recognisable scenes, buildings or details from Elgin.
Black & white images are preferred.
Entrants retain copyright of their photographs.
By entering, photographers grant Teddy's a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the submitted image in the competition, on social media, on the Teddy's website and, if selected, as permanent artwork within the restaurant.
Winning images may be printed, framed and displayed without further payment beyond the stated prize.
Photographer credit will be given wherever reasonably possible.
Any identifiable people in photographs should have given permission to be photographed where legally required, and entrants are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions.
Teddy's reserves the right not to select a winner if submissions do not meet the required standard.
The judges' decision is final.
