Today we made the journey to Elite Billiard Supplies in Rutherglen to pick up some much-needed stock for The New Club.

As always, the guys couldn’t have been more helpful! 👌🎱

We’ve got plenty of equipment available at the club, so pop in and have a look — you might just find something you like. And if we don’t have what you’re looking for, I’m sure the team at Elite Billiards Supplies will!

🎱 CALLUM WOOD MAKES IT 2! 🏆

Event 9 of the 900+ Series goes to Callum Wood, who takes his second win of the series! And dressed in white again… surely that must have been an omen! 😜

Callum defeated the ever-improving Steven Watson in the final, but his route there was far from straightforward.

Callum came through a very tight group, with himself, Freddie Widgery Grant and Stevie Sturrock all finishing on two wins. It took a blue ball shootout to separate them, with Callum coming out on top.

In the semi-final, Callum faced Jack Williamson, who was hoping to reach his first final of the series. Unfortunately for Jack, it wasn’t to be this time. He came through his group in fine form, going three wins from three, but Callum had other ideas.

In the other semi-final, Steven Watson showed his class, also going three from three in the groups before putting Richard Mackenzie to the sword.

Richard had himself come through a tough group unbeaten and was full of confidence, but unfortunately it wasn’t his week either.

👏 Congratulations Callum on your second series victory!

Commiserations to Steven on the final loss — although there are rumours floating around that he threw it just to preserve his handicap… 👀😂

🎱 SNOOKER & POOL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE 🎱

Unfortunately, due to the time being taken to complete games, we are now going to have to put deadlines on each round of both competitions.

📅 PRELIM & ROUND 1 — 25.09.26
📅 ROUND 2 — 02.10.26
📅 ROUND 3 — 09.10.26

⚠️ IMPORTANT: If we don’t hear from either player regarding organising their game before the relevant deadline, then both players will be eliminated from the competition.

Once these dates have passed, we will review the situation and confirm the remaining dates required to complete both competitions.

We appreciate everyone getting their games organised as soon as possible and helping us keep both championships moving. 🎱🏆

A huge congratulations to New Club member and sponsored player Riley Adam on an outstanding season with Bishopmill! 👏

Riley finished the season as Bishopmill’s top goalscorer and was also runner-up in the league’s Young Player of the Season award — a fantastic achievement and one he should be extremely proud of. 🙌
