When you don’t have a creative interior design team working alongside you… you make do with Decora, paint samples and ChatGPT! 😂

Now that the hour is slightly more civilised, here’s what my Saturday is looking like! 😆

A little trip to Decora for some paint-sample pondering, another play on ChatGPT for some interior inspiration, and then good food in a relaxing change of scenery is in the near future. 🍽️☕️

Not quite the same as having a creative design team on hand, but we’re getting there!

Not a bad way to spend a Saturday! ❤️

The things your mind switches onto in the wee small hours… 😂

Whisper it quietly, but Christmas stock has started arriving in The Deli Next Door and we’re planning our two festive events in the restaurant. (Yes, it's still August!)

So naturally, my brain went:

Christmas 🎄
Festive events 🎅
Maintenance jobs 🔧
…and somehow, without anyone awake to stop me… I’ve redecorated the restaurant with the help of ChatGPT. 🤦‍♀️😂

Surely this is just like one of those “5-minute jobs” I create at home?

You know the ones…

“While I’m here, I’ll just…”

Three hours later: covered in paint, surrounded by furniture and questioning every life choice. 😂

Anyway… it’s done (in my head), it’s freshened up, and I’m calling it Christmas preparation rather than an inability to leave things alone. 🎄😂

Anyone else suffer from the 5-minute-job-that-turns-into-a-full-project syndrome?

ps I seriously LOVE the warm mushroom/taupe. It warms up the mural + furniture + walnut floor + natural rattan combo really nicely. I wonder if I should ......? 🤔
