Negroni Week starts today! ✨

From 21st-27th September, we’ll be serving a special Negroni menu in support of Slow Food.

Every participating bar and restaurant makes a donation to Slow Food, helping support an important cause. We’re also delighted to be partnering with Campari, who will be making a donation too.

Our Classic Negroni will be £9, alongside the Kingston Negroni, French Negroni and alcohol-free No-Groni.
One classic cocktail, with a few different ways to enjoy it throughout the week.

From the milk in your morning coffee to the butter and cream used in our kitchen, Graham’s Family Dairy is a big part of our menu at The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant.

We’ve worked with Graham’s for many years, using Graham’s The Family Dairy Whole Milk, Graham’s The Family Dairy Unsalted Butter and Graham’s Fresh Scottish Double Cream in our kitchen every day.

You’ll find their produce in our homemade cakes and scones, seasonal desserts and our Cullen skink, as well as across our coffee menu.

As part of Scottish Food & Drink September, we’re sharing more about the Scottish producers and ingredients we use every day, and Graham’s Family Dairy is certainly one of them.

Throughout Scottish Food & Drink September, we’re sharing more about some of the trusted Scottish suppliers behind our menus.

One of those is Knockraich Farm in Fintry, Stirlingshire, home to Katy Rodger’s Artisan Dairy.

We’re proud to use their Scottish Crowdie, made with fresh, pasteurised whole milk from their prize-winning Friesian herd.

You’ll find it in our homemade whipped Crowdie, served with warm Mull of Kintyre cheddar scones, cayenne pepper and spring onion, as well as Katy Rodger’s crème fraîche with our Aberdeen butteries from Au Gourmand, smoked bacon, seasonal berries and maple syrup.

Throughout Scottish Food & Drink September, we’re sharing more about some of the trusted Scottish suppliers behind our menus.

One of those is Charles Macleod, based in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis. The family business is known for its traditional puddings, including its award-winning Stornoway Black Pudding, which is a well-loved part of our menu.

We’re proud to work with Charles Macleod and value the quality, provenance and strong connection to Scotland’s food traditions behind their products.

Stornoway Black Pudding is one of the many Scottish ingredients that continues to play a part in the menus we serve at The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant.

You can find Stornoway Black Pudding on our breakfast menu, served as part of our Full Scottish Breakfast ❤️
