It was very satisfying to clear and clean the Prayer room and office with Maggie today. Four hours well spent! We can now see this verse of thanksgiving which was hidden by a sofa! A good way to finish this time in Saltyard!

Thank you for all your kind words during my last weeks managing Saltyard cafe. It has been very special to share this time with you. We are having a thanksgiving service on Sunday 1st March at 11am in Gorgie church 190 Gorgie Road. It would be lovely to see some of our customers as well as our volunteers.

I want to thank all our lovely customers for sharing life with us. I retire on Friday having part of the beginning of this amazing cafe, 13 years ago, and I have worked here since 2018. I will be about for the next couple of weeks and hope to say goodbye in person.

Always special when the Saltyard tree goes up! It is a Christmon tree from the Lutheran tradition which is all symbolic of Jesus coming.
