PROPERTY BUYERS
INFORMATION EVENING

How to buy a property is not taught at school and can be a daunting prospect for most of us so after successfully helping both my children and their friends buy their own first homes in their early 20’s, and now about to help a couple of the young staff in the cafe, I have asked Kevin Davidson (property lawyer) & Derek Murray (mortgage advisor) to come along to the cafe and walk us through the process of buying a home to help & advise anyone thinking about starting that journey.

Whatever age or stage of life you are at, from a first time buyer, divorce or retirement home…It’s free and open to anyone who’d like to come along whether it’s something you are thinking about now or in the future.

Mission Christmas & Cash for Kids needs help.

They have had their worst year yet - they still have to find 40,000 gifts for children. This room is usually packed with presents at this time for year.

They've had to send volunteers home as there's no gifts to pack up. 😭

You can donate cash, buy specific gifts on their website, or donate gifts at the Gyle, or at other donation points throughout the city (eg. Tesco South Queensferry is a drop off point as is B&M at Meadowbank).

They'd prefer them at the Gyle if possible though.
