Our Falafel brings together golden chickpea fritters, creamy houmous and rich red pepper tapenade. Fresh, colourful, full of Mediterranean flavour and very difficult to stop at just one.

Order it for the table, add a few more tapas and let everyone dig in. Because at La Casa, sharing is half the fun.

Newington, what an August it’s been ❤️

Being right in the heart of the Fringe means we’ve had a front row seat to Edinburgh at its busiest, brightest and most brilliant. Our tables have been filled with familiar local faces, performers, festival goers and visitors from every corner of the world, all brought together over good food and plenty of tapas.

To everyone who chose to step through our doors amongst the August madness, thank you. Every full table, kind word and return visit has meant so much to our Newington team.

Now, as Fringe comes to a close and Edinburgh begins to find its usual rhythm again, we’re looking forward to a slightly slower September, warm gatherings and plenty more evenings around the table.

Edinburgh might be slowing down after a very busy August, but our tables certainly aren’t 🫒🍷

As Fringe comes to an end and we soak up the last of the summer, we’re getting back to what we love most. Tables covered in tapas, plates passed between friends, drinks poured and absolutely no pressure to choose just one favourite.

Consider this your reminder that the best way to ease into September is with a little bit of everything.
