We said goodbye to one of our own this week and we’d like to take a moment to celebrate him and remember him.

Robert Anderson was our friend and colleague and worked his way through a few of the Civ’s sites until Stockbridge Civ’s needed him and that’s where he stayed. The warmth and humor he brought to the workplace is irreplaceable.

Hundreds of services,
thousands of covers,
and every single one of them better for having Robert with us.

The kitchen teaches you something about people.

You learn who shows up.
Who lifts.
Who you want next to you when it gets hard.

Robert was all of that and more.

Undefeated in the ring, undefeated in the kitchen & undefeated forever in our hearts.

This May, Civerinos are taking rugby to the sand with the very first ever Civerinos Beach Rugby Festival alongside the legends at Portobello Youth Rugby Academy.

Fast games. Sandy dives. Big energy.
5-a-side beach rugby with rolling subs, quick-fire matches and absolutely no standing about. Just pure chaos on the beach in the best possible way.

🥇 Medals + bragging rights forever

Not playing? Still get down. We’ll have tunes, coffee, cold drinks, pizza slices flying out the hatch and one of the best backdrops in Edinburgh.

PORTY BEACH LITTER PICKING IS BACK

Our Portobello litter picks are back from Friday and we’re buzzing to get going again.

Same vibe as always... good people, doing a good thing, followed by a well-earned slice 🍕

We’ll bring the kit (bags, pickers etc), you just bring yourself, your pals, your kids, your dog… whoever’s keen. From 10am-12pm.

It’s our way of giving a little back to the beach that gives us a lot.
