Here at the Orchard we cater for many tastes with our seasonal fresh food cooked to order. This is our Roasted Cauliflower Feta Salad with pomegranate, pickled shallots, rocket and spiced yoghurt suitable for Vegans… and our Orchard Legendary Steak Pie with puff pastry bonnet, hand cut potato chips with green beans ~ A favourite here in Canonmills.

Some people are just not very happy people, which is understandable in certain circumstances but why would you go out of your way to attack hospitality venues at a time when we are all struggling with higher costs. This person seems to have had exactly the same thing happen twice on exactly the same day.
Problem is it is illegal in Scotland to encourage a customer to drink more than they intended by doing offers like these, that ended with the licensing Scotland Act back in 2005!
Also we don’t sell glasses of w**e at £11 and our large glass is a 175ml which would mean four glasses plus 50ml in a bottle. I can also assume with some certainty this didn’t happen at the Star Bar either!

Here at The Orchard in Canonmills we make every effort to see our customers have the best food and drink experience we can. The food is all freshly prepared, for example, here is our Pan-Fried Duck Breast served with sweet potato fondant, pak choi, gremolata & spiced jus.

Down by the Botanics (5 minutes from the East Gate) we are a nice haven away from the masses up on the royal mile. Enjoy a chilled meal with family & friends- For locals & tourists alike 🍽️
