New product! New collab!
If you’ve tried the Bits Bake Shop chocolate brownies then you’ll be well aware that they’re the best Edinburgh has to offer. If you’ve not, then you can now get them right here at Ground Floor! We’re absolutely thrilled to now be stocking these insanely gooey, oozy delights. These salted caramel ones are (obviously) a firm favourite and are on our counter right now, ready to go.
And this is also HUGE NEWS for the gluten intolerant amongst our customers, as these babies have no gluten containing ingredients!*

*(But they are made and sold in fairly close quarters to it!)

HUGE NEWS FOR EARLY BIRDS!
As of Monday 14th Sept Ground Floor will be opening at 8am Mon - Fri, for all your early morning/pre-work/pre-run/get-up-and-go-needs! No longer will you have to wait for 10am to roll around, we’ll be here for all your first-thing caffeine needs and beyond.
Tell your mates, set your alarms, and come get a cup of coffee!
Saturdays and Sundays will still be the easy breezy 10am start that we’re on currently, because even baristas deserve a lazy weekend…

Did you know we bake right here in Ground Floor?
We’ve got a wee oven from which we’ve been sending out such delights as these delicious freshly baked cookies (dough mixed up by the legends at Alby's) and the super chocolately crowd favourite, our croissant loaf.
If you catch the timing just right you might get a cookie that’s juuust come out of the oven (is there a greater treat out there?!) and of course the croissant loaf comes toasted and with optional skooshy cream if that’s the sort of thing you’re into…

All available until 5pm every day!

NEW FROSTY BEVS ALERT!
Since summer has been really beating down these last coupla weeks we’ve concocted a few new cold drinks to help us all get through it while still getting our caffeine fix!
First up is the Earl Grey and Lemon Iced Tea! A classic in a magnificent new form, this one is refined and delicate while still being a complex balance of floral and citrus. (Also a good one for the late afternoon heat and still getting some sleep)

Next is the palate twisting coffee tonic! Made with either cold brew or espresso (depending how much punch you need), this one isn’t quite like anything else, and really needs to be tried to understand why it works sooo well. Tangy, sharp, fresh, with the fruity acidity of our house coffee.

And finally, the cardamom iced latte, the perfect addition to one of our biggest sellers in the summer months. If you want a little extra depth to your milky drink then this is the one for you.

All ready to go right now, so come and cool down with us!

A moment please for the real MVP of Ground Floor cafe! Our pepitos are baked suuper locally and that ooze is honestly kinda indecent.

We’re open 10am - 5pm and we have these babies every damn day!

If you’re a fan of the coffee we sell at Ground Floor you might be interested to know that it’s roasted just around the corner by the magicians at .coffee and that we’ve always got beans in store that you can buy to make at home. (Just make sure you still come and see us too, yeah?)

Hot Pudding Alert!
Seeing as the summer is taking its sweet time to get here, we’ve got a brand new addition to our sweet treat menu…
Home Baked Croissant Loaf! (although really it’s pepitos and pain au chocs in there, so you know it’s super chocolately!)

It’s like a bread and butter pudding but with pastries, baked in homemade custard. We’re serving it piping hot out the oven, so the chocolate is oozing, the pastry is dense and squidgy, and the crispy edges are something else!
So come and say hello, grab a coffee and get a slice of this!

The Ground Floor family expands!! Please say hi to our new Cafe Manager who we are delighted to have on board!

I’m sure many of you will recognise him from behind the window in the studio, holding down Friday mornings. Well, he couldn’t get enough of the place and is now part of the good ship Ground Floor as well.
