Our students work exceptionally hard throughout the academic year to achieve their qualifications, and a key part of their learning journey involves running our restaurants and cafés as part of their realistic working environment. As a reward for their dedication, commitment, and hard work, a group of 30 students and staff had the opportunity to visit the The Highland Chocolatier today.

We were incredibly grateful to have Ian take time out of his busy schedule to speak with the group, sharing his expertise, insights, and passion for the industry. It was an inspiring and valuable experience for everyone involved, and certainly well worth the drive.

A huge thank you to Ian and the team for making us feel so welcome and helping to create a memorable day for our students.

We were lucky to host an exclusive afternoon tea masterclass event by Award-winning Executive Pastry Chef, Michael Kwan and in conjunction with and in our EH15 restaurant this week. This exclusive event allowed invited guests and some of our students to learn from a master of his craft. We can assure you that the patisserie was as good as it looks.

Last dinner service of the year tonight and as always the students smashed it out the park. Congratulations to level 6 kitchen & larder and level 7 patisserie & confectionery. We wish you all the very best in your careers. And to level 2 FOH, we’ll see you all next year.

Another busy evening in EH15 last night. Next week is our final dinner service before we close for summer and it looks set to be jam packed.

We have one table of 4 left for this Friday lunch (22nd), the menu for this rotation was produced by our City & Guilds Level 1 students.

Next week is our last lunches before summer with limited availability left on the Friday only so be quick to avoid being disappointed!
