October dump!! 🍂

A little collection of October moments in Edinburgh wandering through the pretty cobbled streets, admiring our cosy little cafés, enjoying good food and taking in all the little things that make this city so special.
A little bit of exploring, a lot of good food, pretty views and memories made along the way. Edinburgh, you are lovely.

A wee September dump!

Some halloumi on avocado toast, our beloved Grassmarket and a busy cafe! Only what we love !!

Front of house: jazzy music, big smiles, coffee grinder ASMR…
Step into the kitchen: you know exactly where you are. 😂

Especially when it’s AVOCADO SMASHING TIME. 🥑💥

Two rooms. Two vibes.
Same restaurant, completely different reality.

Taking a second to realise that you work somewhere people travel to visit.
Grassmarket, Edinburgh is definitely one of the most whimsical place in the world!

Dear reader,

the weather is getting cooler, the evenings are getting quieter, and somehow, an iced latte still feels like the perfect little companion.

There’s something bittersweet about watching summer slowly fade away trading warm sunshine for crisp mornings, golden leaves, soft sweaters, and that gentle feeling that a new season is beginning.

So, for now, I’ll keep ordering my iced latte, even when the air gets cold. Because some things are simply too good to let go of with the changing seasons.

Here’s to slow mornings, chilly afternoons, coffee runs, and finding little reasons to romanticise the ordinary.

With love,
someone who will be ordering an iced latte all year round. 🤎
