Sad post alert 🥹
Unfortunately and with a very heavy heart , BAM will close after 31st dec and won’t re open in the new year.
This will no doubt come as a massive shock to many people and was a very very tough call to make, one which I thought long and hard many times over but as we have seen with many other small independent hospitality businesses in town , ultimately the current economic climate has just been far too difficult to navigate through recently.
I want to thank everyone who made BAM such a wonderful place to come to , our amazing customers , local suppliers and everyone In between and lastly our absolutely incredible hard working staff , great people all of you.

We were a bit different , didn’t have the luxury of a lot a space in the shop, didn’t have an actual proper kitchen to work in but made do and tried our best to make it work, and we did , the reviews on socials, trip and Google would back this up but the reality is the costs involved in running a place like this are huge , it’s not an easy gig at all , with margins becoming tighter and tighter in recent months it’s made it pretty tough to deal with.
As sad and disappointing this is I’d like to think we have served the salamander street community well for the last 4 1/2 years which is something we can all be proud off.
We will be open 29th 30th and 31st December.
