Enter the Chicken Gyros Merida.

A proper plate loaded with chicken gyros, golden fries, warm pitta, fresh salad, tomatoes and sauce on the side. Tear the pitta, dip, build your perfect bite and repeat until somebody notices the plate is empty.

Everybody knows the feta.

But let us introduce you to something that deserves a little more attention 🇬🇷

Politiki: pickled cabbage, carrots, celery and mixed peppers with spring onion, Kalamata olives and olive oil.

Fresh, sharp, crunchy and exactly the sort of thing you want sitting in the middle of a table full of Greek food.

The glamorous dish? Maybe not.

To everyone who has joined us, filled our tables, ordered “just one more plate” and brought all that brilliant Fringe energy through our doors…

We’ve loved the busy services, the new faces, the familiar ones and seeing Fava full of people eating, drinking and enjoying themselves the Greek way.

And now, with the final few days ahead, there’s only one thing left to do… finish Fringe the way we started it. With full tables, plenty of food and a little bit of chaos 🍽️🥂

The city is still buzzing and we’re ready for an exciting final few days. If Fava is still on your Fringe list, now is the time.

Before the show. After the show. Or simply because you've walked 20,000 steps and earned it.

Order a few plates for the table, stay longer than you planned, and let the rest of Edinburgh rush around for a while.

August is one of our busiest months, so if you're planning a Greek feast with family or friends, we strongly recommend reserving your table.
