Good times....Big shout out to the King's Theatre in their " soon to be completed" refurbishment, along with the "improved pedestrian access" of Leven Street and surrounding areas....completion "April" ...from January 12th.
All for the regeneration for the greater good, but as a small business this is crippling.

Loving the ambience of pneumatic drilling, smell of petrol, and tipper trucks, work vans and overflowing bins right outside our premises for eight hours a day for last six weeks. Blocking our facade with unoccupied work/transport trucks has been a lovely extra touch. Getting deliveries, and rubbish recycling has taken a military operation to complete.
Further conversations with the powers that be have fallen on deaf ears.
Accountant actually laughed at us this month for our profit and loss account...not sure why...petrol fumed infused food and a banging headache is surely what everyone craves for a lunchtime cafe experience!
Despite all this, massive thankyou to all our customers, regulars and travellers alike who are continuing to support us, despite the noise, atmosphere and general experience being quite frankly abominable through no fault of our own. Will be looking forward to our comp tickets to the panto!
Lots of love to all our friends and business neighbours who are enjoying it as much as we are.

Multi purpose seasonings which can be used in sauces, marinades, dry rubs, rice and dips.
Available to purchase in recyclable and resealable bags, or bring your own container.

1. Sri Lankan curry blend...Coconut milk under maximum pressure.

2. South Indian Madras... A spice blend with strong opinions and no supervision.

3. Thai Red curry...The "It's not that spicy" lie in powdered form.

4. Thai yellow curry...Flavour that prefers to whisper.

5. Moroccan Ras el Hanout...The "Yes we have cinnamon in dinner" policy.

Roasted chestnut mushrooms, with baby spinach, shallots, and basmati rice, in a lightly spiced coconut curry broth. You might think this wouldn't work...you're wrong. Phew!!!😆
