What’s a scrumpet, you ask? Here it is!

Gammon & cheddar scrumpet, served with a fried hen’s egg and tomato & Worcestershire sauce relish. A cracking little addition to the menu 😋.

There are lots of things that make a treatment at PIGSPA special, but one that always sticks out to our guests is what happens afterwards.

Your relaxation doesn't stop when your treatment ends. Every treatment includes time in our post-treatment lounge, where you can sink into a heated water bed, sip herbal tea, and enjoy refreshing sorbet.

It is a little extra time to stay in that post-treatment bubble before heading back to reality, and one of those little PIGSPA touches our guests really love.

This is how your Christmas stay at The Pigs could look 🎄

Check into your room from 3pm, crack open the fizz and settle in for two nights of Christmas at The Pigs.

Christmas Eve dinner, brunch both mornings, Christmas lunch, and a Christmas Night hamper are all taken care of, with plenty of time to hide away in your room and make the most of your private spa facilities.

A Christmas stay with everything included, so all you have to worry about is what time lunch is.

We’ve only got three rooms left for Christmas: two Spa Suites and one dog-friendly Original Spa Room. 🎄

Who’s the hotel booker in your relationship? 👀

Who’s the one who finds the hotel, checks the reviews and makes the booking? And who’s the one that just turns up?

Tag your other half and tell us which one you are… no judgement here. 👇

Some puddings don’t need messing with.

Our classic Spotted Dick is a proper steamed suet pudding packed with currants and generously covered in warm vanilla custard.

The sort of pudding you want when the air starts to chill.

If you’re coming to stay with us, leaving your room can feel… rather untempting.

But if you do fancy venturing out for a few hours, Holt is only a 10-minute drive away and well worth a visit.

There are gorgeous boutiques and independent shops to have a nose around, and when you’re all shopped out, pop into our sister property, Byfords.

There are gorgeous boutiques and independent shops to have a nose around, and when you’re all shopped out, you can head to the residents’ lounge at our sister property, Byfords. You’ll have access as part of your stay at The Pigs, so it’s a lovely spot to stop for a cocktail or a glass of fizz before heading back to us.

Then it’s back to The Pigs, where your room is waiting and you’ve got absolutely nowhere else to be.

Made for big appetites, our taste of English lamb brings together slow-cooked shepherd’s pie, seared rump and crispy lamb breast, served with buttered carrots & peas, pearl barley and a rich red w**e reduction.

A proper celebration of English lamb, all on one very good plate. 🐑
