🤎 A LITTLE BAKING SHED UPDATE…🤎
I feel like I owe you all a little explanation for my absence around here lately! 🥹
It feels like every time I get myself organised and think “right, this is the weekend I’m going to open the shed again!”something else comes along and life gets completely hectic! 😂
The past few weeks have been BUSY busy, and if I’m being completely honest, I’ve not been feeling 100% myself either. When you’re trying to juggle home, the kids, work, baking, the coffee cart and everything else that life throws at you, sometimes you just have to take a step back and breathe.
I had hoped I would be able to open the Baking Shed next weekend, but my husband has a Pro MMA fight on Cage Warriors on the 26th in the RDS in Dublin so he has been absolutely flat out with training and isn’t home until late most nights. 🥊 If any of you are into MMA and fancy watching Billy’s fight, it will be on UFC Fight Pass! 👊🏻 Unfortunately, all the physical tickets are now sold out, but you can still watch it from home on Fight Pass, all support is greatly appreciated 🥰
As you can imagine, the last thing I want to do is try to squeeze in opening the shed when my head and heart aren’t fully in it. And with his fight being on the 26th, I know I won’t realistically get the shed opened that weekend either.
So… I’m giving myself a little bit of breathing space and setting my sights on the first weekend in October!🤞🏻🤎
I’m really hoping that by then things have settled down a little, I’m feeling like myself again, and I can get back into a proper routine with the Baking Shed and have it open for you all again. 🧁🍪🍰
The coffee cart has been busy, which is honestly amazing and something we are incredibly grateful for. ❤️ But with that, along with family, work and just life in general, something had to take a little step back and unfortunately for now, that’s been the Baking Shed.
I’m only human. I can’t do everything, every day, at 100%, and I’ve had to listen to my body and give myself a little bit of time rather than constantly pushing and making myself feel guilty for it. I think it’s important to remind myself that health is your wealth. ❤️
So please bear with me. 🥹🤎
I’m looking forward to getting back in there, getting the oven on, filling the shelves with all the good stuff and seeing yous all popping by the shed🥰
And in the meantime, please don’t ever hesitate to message me, if you fancy a tray of something nice! 👌🏻 If I can fit something in, I absolutely will.
And of course, our bakes are always available at the coffee cart in Omagh, so you can still get your sweet fix there if you’re missing us! ☕️🍰🤎
I’m so sorry for disappearing and for those of you who have been patiently waiting for the shed to reopen. Thank you, genuinely, for every message, every bit of support and for being so understanding.
It means more than you know. 🥹 Fingers crossed life has calmed down, I’m back to feeling 100%, and we can get this little shed back up and running properly again.
See you very soon🤎🧁 Thank you for sticking with me. ❤️
