Baking in this heat isnt for the weak but hopefully tomorrow its a bit cooler. I will be at Guiseley Carnival tomorrow with lots of baked cookies, brownies and cookiepies. Hope to see you all there

🌤️ The Heatwave May Be Ending... But the Fun is Just Beginning! 🎪

The forecast for Sunday's Guiseley Carnival looks much more comfortable after the recent heatwave, with temperatures around 20°C. There is a chance of a few light showers early in the morning, but by the time the Carnival gets underway at 12 noon, it's looking like a pleasant afternoon with sunny intervals.
So don't let a little morning drizzle put you off – there's a fantastic afternoon of entertainment, stalls, food, music and family fun waiting for you!
🌞 We still recommend:
💧 Bringing a bottle of water and keeping hydrated.
🧴 Wearing sunscreen if you're spending the afternoon outdoors.
👒 Bringing a hat or sunglasses if the sun makes an appearance.
🌦️ And perhaps pop a light waterproof in your bag... just in case!
We'll be ready whatever the weather, and we're looking forward to welcoming everyone for another fantastic Guiseley Carnival.
