I have always been “Arty” and with an eye for detail, a perfectionist at times but i never knew how to make it into a career especially around my family commitments but in 2009 i was asked to decorate a family members cake, i found i enjoyed it and havent looked back since! My daughter 18th birthday Cake!

My smallest 2 tiered cake i do, 5” and 4” tiers and even though its small it still has a great showstopping look!!

I used the free reign opportunity to try my hand at wafer paper flowers and for a first attempt they came out great!! Game changer AND beautiful as well! Is will definitely be using this more!

I originally planned a darker purple cake but at the last minute changed the design to a more pastel design so the 18 on top i think would have been great in a silver or pastel acrylic however the dark purple does make it stand out!

Yes i do use AI backgrounds but as explained in a previous post i really feel it compliments them so much better. The alternative would be my busy pink wallpaper and it doesnt work well for showing off those details!

The name and age was matched to the party invites by the talented Becky @ studio four! All the dino colours were based on the invites too and they were so vibrant and cute! Customer only asked for 4 dinosaurs but i got completely carried away and couldnt decide on which to do so i did 5!

I really underestimated how long it would take me to roll all the “rocks” lol 😂 so so many but it went towards the look that the customer wanted to create!

What a fun cake for a lucky girl!!
