βš½πŸ† WORLD CUP PREDICTION CHALLENGE – MATCHDAY UPDATE πŸ†βš½
A matchday packed with draws has shaken things up at the top of the table!
πŸ₯‡ Chris Hendy – 14 pts
πŸ₯‡ Trotts Cottage – 14 pts
πŸ₯ˆ John Case – 13 pts
πŸ₯‰ Richard Corney – 12 pts
The leaders are already nervously looking over their shoulders at the chasing pack, knowing that one exact score can turn heroes into also-rans overnight. Meanwhile, the pack behind are gathering momentum and sensing blood – this title race is far from over.
And then there's Spain...
Every World Cup it's the same story. The passing is silky, the statistics are magnificent, and pundits wax lyrical about their style. Yet somehow, they leave fans tearing their hair out wondering where the goals have gone. They'll stutter, they'll frustrate, there'll be calls for wholesale changes... and then, somehow, they'll quietly find themselves in the quarter-finals. Maybe even the semis. It's football's worst-kept secret.
As for our predictors, some are proving they know their football. Others appear to have made their predictions after three pints and a packet of pork scratchings.
Still, it's early days. The beauty of football is that fortunes can change in an instant.
Well... unless you're at the bottom of the table. Then you're probably already claiming, "I'm just keeping everyone else interested!" πŸ˜‰
⚽ Plenty more matches to come.
🍺 Plenty more pints to be won.
πŸ† And absolutely everything still to play for!

Good morning, sports fans!
The prediction sheets are in, the scores are being counted, and the race to become Master Predictor of The Fox is well underway.
Some contestants are already looking like footballing masterminds, while others appear to have selected their scores using a dartboard and a blindfold.
And somewhere this morning you'll find Ken Hodges, quietly crying into his pillow after a last-minute goal by Qatar denied him any points whatsoever and firmly rooted him to the foot of the table on a magnificent 0 points. It's early days, Ken, but the view from the basement isn't getting any prettier.
With plenty of matches still to come, fortunes can change quickly. One inspired prediction could see you shoot up the standings, while one unexpected result could leave your rivals wondering what went wrong.
So whether you're leading the pack, chasing the leaders, or currently keeping Ken company at the wrong end of the table, there's still everything to play for.
βš½πŸΊπŸ† Welcome to another day of World Cup prediction madness at The Fox! 🦊

πŸ†WORLD CUP PREDICTION CHALLENGE - THE RACE IS ON! πŸ†

Thirty brave contestants have stepped into the arena, all battling it out to prove they are the ultimate football predictor.

After Match day 2, the table is already taking shape. Gary & Lisa and Paul only joined the competition yesterday, meaning they missed the chance to score points on the opening fixtures. As a result Ken finds himself rooted to the bottom of the table, trying to work out when the results will start going his way!

The good news? is it's not too late to join the action.

Our prediction challenge is completely free to enter. Simply pop into the pub, pick up your prediction sheets and see if you've got what it takes to climb the leaderboard.

And whilst you're here, why not have a pint or two? After all, football experts agree that deep tactical thinking is best done with a drink in hand ...... probably.
