The Cat’s Whiskers Restaurant is in Cornfield Terrace, built in 1853 it is listed Grade 2 and is one of the first buildings constructed in the town. It was established as a restaurant in 1928 and the present owners have been there since 1996. We offer a small menu of homemade Classic British Dishes featuring local ingredients when possible. We use fresh seasonal ingredients supplied by a local butcher, greengrocer and fishmonger. Vegetarian dishes are available but please book in advance. Open for lunches Sunday to Friday at 12 noon. Traditional Sunday lunch with a choice of 3 Roasts – 2 courses £9.75, 3 courses £13.50
