🍷 BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU HAS ARRIVED! 🇫🇷

Join us at Fuego, Fenwick Newcastle on Wednesday 19 November for a brilliant evening celebrating all things Beaujolais.

Together with Newcastle W**e School, we’ll take you beyond Beaujolais Nouveau and explore just how exciting and diverse this region can be — from the fresh, juicy w**es of Nouveau and Beaujolais-Villages through to the more serious and complex w**es of the Beaujolais Crus.

🥂 We’ll start with a glass of Crémant before settling in for six hand-selected Beaujolais w**es, each paired with delicious French-inspired small plates from the Fuego kitchen.

Expect great w**e, great food, plenty of stories and absolutely no stuffy w**e tasting! 🇫🇷🍷

Caught up with my “partner in w**e” Carmen E Molina
For a belated birthday drink 🍷! We headed to Sheepfolds Stables , first to The w**e bar , literally what it’s called ! … top tip, if you’re a w**e lover , give it a wide swerve , what a poor list , all entry level stuff and very boring . Very disappointing!
We headed across to Ember for some light small plates and another glass of w**e . The food was lovely , but unfortunately yet again, their by the glass list was uninspiring and lacking.
Fortunately, the w**e was much better at home ! Happy birthday Carmen .

Anyone who doesn’t think Albariño doesn’t age …. It really does , I recently shared a bottle of 2016 with friends so@I sighed around my cellar and found this 2019 ! Almost as delicious as the 2016 , but still holding that zippy acidity but with more honeyed notes and lovely richness! Perfect@on a lakeside beach in the forest ❤️❤️
