The hostelry dates back to the the 19th the century and is named after the local landowner and to this day still retains the charms of yesteryear with wooden tables, flagstone floors, beamed ceilings and comfortable seating, whilst offering the modern amenities that weary travellers expect.

Once again the garden is looking amazing this year! Bit of extra lighting too! Anyone say alfresco?
