And that’s Training Week at The Mallard completed!

From food tastings (3 of them!) , to bar training, to cocktail making, w**e tasting, pass training and beyond we are so proud of our brand new shining team for working so hard this week learning everything Brunning & Price - and also a huge thank you to all of the trainers for coming and helping us too!

Set Up Week is finished and we’re getting closer to opening our doors to you every day.

The kitchen has been doing food cook offs, our management team has been stocking the bar and our property team are making the final tweaks, ready to open on Thursday 15th!

Thanks so much for all your walk suggestions. Yesterday we took the 'sausages' to try out the route. If their little legs can do it, we thought most should be able to!

Looking forward to our first 'pub walk' together (once we have our feet under the table/bar).

We need a bit of 'local intel' please!
We'd love to create a circular walk from the pub, say around 3 to 4 miles (that should work people's appetite and thirst up!).
Is there anywhere you'd recommend we should head for? Ideally we'd stick to the prettiest, rural route with minimal roads, where dog's would be welcome.

Our new brigade of Chefs were in the Development Kitchen all last week making the final touches to our opening menu. You are in for a treat!

We are aiming to open on Thursday 15th October - we will be in touch as soon as this is all firmed up and our booking system becomes live.
