Fordy’s Ice Cream

27/01/2024

Hi all,

We wanted to thank everyone who has supported Fordy’s Ice Cream since we started. From something that was just a lockdown crazy idea, it turned into something more than we could have ever imagined.

Sadly due to a change in circumstances we can no longer commit the time that is necessary to continue with Fordy’s Ice Cream. It has been an incredibly hard decision to make but unfortunately we can’t continue with the business.

Thank you again to all our customers and to our friends that we have made along the way. It’s been an incredible experience!! 🍦🍦

Thank you to everyone who tried our ice cream at Saxon Barn at Priory Farm, Leonard Stanley today! We heard lots of “This is the best ice cream I’ve ever had!” comments today which makes all the effort worth it! 🥰

We even had a surprise “quality test” from a lovely customer who works in an ice cream factory and said that our Belgian Chocolate Brownie ice cream had just the right level of richness which is difficult to achieve!

Our Belgian Chocolate Brownie is by far our most popular flavour and it’s no surprise 😋It’s a silky and decadent chocolate custard base made using Callebaut Belgian chocolate, and then packed with homemade fudgy Belgian chocolate brownie chunks! Plus it’s gluten free! (minus the cone 😊)

We’re at Saxon Barn market today! The dark clouds are looming but we’re happy to be here!

We’re scooping a new seasonal flavour today - Blackberry & Apple Crumble! Made with homemade blackberry compote, stewed cinnamon apples, and gluten free crumble 😋
