VisitEngland inspection day! The place should be nipping clean with the 300million changeovers we've done in the last month but here we go again ...😅

Always best to book direct! I've just had to raise our Airbnb prices by 18.6% just to absorb the cost of listing on there. I'd love to know how they justify the increase from 3.6% when they do bu**er all to prepare the house,run it or interact with guests 🤷‍♀️

Keep supporting our local café while you're visiting the area. From wonderful nutritious breakfasts to devinely tasty lunch (especially the Stilton and pear salad 😋) or just a well deserved coffee before a days exploring it all counts towards keeping our community thriving!

Wow what a busy couple of weeks welcoming families for Durham University Graduations. I'm not going to lie it's been tough doing same day turnaround but so worth it for our fabulous feedback and smiling faces when guests check out...and the "oh god I wish we'd booked for longer" when they saw our fabulous facilities for the first time 😂

A massive day in the calendar for so many of the mining communities in and around the City. Something that everyone needs to experience at least once in their life!

Food out at the local Trattoria Zest Italian Durham. It was pretty full i just didn't want to show other people enjoying their food! A fabulous home cooked menu with great specials too..and a bonus if you love Aperol spritz as much as me its just a 3min walk from the door! 🍷🍷🍹🍹
