Well we didn’t win the overall award 😔 but I think to be recognised in the Top 6 Marston’s sites, is still a phenomenal achievement!

Thank you to the team who work day in day out to make sure we have a great pub, and to our community who always support us and me, we couldn’t do it without you! 💙

✨Simply the best ✨

On the 12th anniversary of your start here at The Newton Grange, I would like to wish Mr Michael Fitzgerald a very happy retirement!

I have ran out of superlatives to describe you, and the graft and effort you have put in here over the years, the innuendos and anecdotes and I look forward to you correcting my grammar from this post 😆

I, and I’m sure the other Managers you have worked with, can only say THANK YOU! 💙

If you could still pop down on Christmas Eve to measure our table cloths and make those fiddly napkin hat things, that would be most appreciated 😂

We’re looking for either some local carol groups or a school Christmas choir to perform for us this Christmas!

Either at our Light Switch On on the 12th November, or on another date of your choosing

If it’s a school, we will of course provide refreshments for the children on the evening 🎁

🐕🐈Our bar top donation tin for Durham Dogs and Cats Home raised £40!

This has gone to help dogs like Mabel get treatment, recover and get looked after by the awesome team there. Thank you for your support ❤️
