Dad, our resident gardener, maintenance expert, and Eric the robin's "carer," is on holiday! Eric has been searching for him daily. Today, James opened Dad's garage, and Eric zipped in, hoping to find him. The disappointment was fleeting once James filled Eric's little feeding bowl with dried cranberry pellets! 🤎❤️ 🐦

So this little baby jackdaw got trapped behind the fence in our beer garden on Friday night its Mam and Dad were crying out for help. We tried always to free it we just couldn't get to it. However I'm thrilled to say it survived the night and somehow must have found a way out. I found it sat on the grass this morning with its mam and dad still close by. My dad picked him up before my two little sausage dogs could "play" with him and has him safely up a height out of harms way. Special thanks to our gorgeous customers and our chef Ben for trying so hard to help it.

We are delighted to announce the celebration of our 20th anniversary at The Green Tree. We will be providing reserved tables for guests who make advance arrangements. Reservations can be secured by visiting the pub in person, with a fee of £10. All proceeds generated from these reservations will be contributed to local charitable organizations.

Many thanks to the team at Bishops Close Medical Practice for their kind donation of £80 to help maintain our Village defibrillator. By maintaining this life saving piece of equipment we are able to offer in an emergency the best chance for any person in need of cardiac assistance.
