Whether you’re a seasoned performer, an acoustic soloist, a vocalist, or stepping onto the stage for the very first time, our stage is open to all genres and skill levels. Plug in, sing out, and enjoy a supportive, welcoming atmosphere!

Needing a way to keep the little ones occupied during the six week holiday?! Why not pop on down to the Woodman next Tuesday, 4th August from lunchtime - we will have critters for them to meet from 2pm!

Bringing the wonderful world of exotic minibeasts into the community, Steve’s Animal Ark will be at the Woodman Inn next Tuesday, 4th August with a selection of invertebrates.

He will have beetles, scorpions, crabs, millipedes and stick insects to name but a few!

Looking forward to seeing friends old and new - Pop by and say hello, and bring the kids to see some weird and wonderful animals.

Get dressed up and bring the kids down for an afternoon of wonder and delight!

Boasting the best b**r garden in Durham, the Woodman Inn is a family friendly venue with its own play area at the top of Claypath just out of the City Centre. We offer pizzas, toasties, hot dogs, and of course a tipple for the parents!

It’s (almost) the weekend, and that can mean only one thing - it’s The Woodman Inn Durham time!! And what a musical bonanza we have for you 💃 🕺

Kicking off the weekend we have the Open Mic Night - hosted by the excellent Peter Gowran at 7PM TONIGHT! 🎶

Tomorrow, Friday 24th July, at 7PM Brian is back with another rock and rolling karaoke 🎤 Always popular so get down early to secure your seats!

Saturday we have the amazing Olivia back singing with us at 8PM 🌺 She is not one to be missed!

And on Sunday Brian Mc will boggle our minds once again with his brain busting quiz from 7PM - seats are limited so be there or be square! 🍬

It’s been another scorcher ☀️ and FINALLY the weekend is here!

Kicking off with the incredible Brian on Karaoke, dust off your glitter shoes and belt out some tunes from 7PM TONIGHT to carry you into BIG MEETING tomorrow!

And what a Saturday it will be! Pop up to escape the crowds and enjoy the sunshine in our garden, and why not sample some of our new menu whilst you’re there?!

We’ll have live music into the evening and OF COURSE we’ll be showing 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England v Norway 🇳🇴 across our multiple screens from 10pm.

Still got some oomph left in you on Sunday? Well why not get yourselves down for the incomparable Brian Mc on the mic as your Quiz Host at 7pm, and maybe much on some nachos as you test the old grey matter 🧠 🥘

Well what a game that was!!

We would like to thank all those who came down to watch (and celebrate!) with us! Your dedication makes this World Cup what it is 💪 🏆

We’ll be back for the next one (10PM on Saturday, which also happens to be Miners Gala 🫣) but for today we’ve decided to let our wonderful bar staff get some extra shuteye 😴 So please note we will be open from 4PM Today, rather than our usual 12PM!
