And Lisa’s got two tasty treats lined up for you to try at Market Cheese & Deli today! 😋

First up is Keen’s Unpasteurised Cheese – described as a tangy and fruity cheese, packed with flavour and character. If you’ve never tried it before, today’s your chance to have a little nibble before committing to a bigger chunk! 🧀 At £3 per 100g, you might find yourself going back for more...

And because apparently one sample just isn’t enough temptation for a Saturday, Lisa’s also cracked open the Rendles Mini Cheese Straws with Gouda & Edam. 🤤 Crispy, cheesy and VERY moreish – exactly the sort of thing where “I’ll just have one” could prove rather optimistic!

Run, don't walk! Lisa has got a small selection of cheese pastries, crafted by the talented bakers up at Claypath Delicatessen, to give away. In exchange, we'd love to hear your thoughts, as they may be added to our range.

There are three varieties to try:

After a fast sell-out of the sourdough breads yesterday (we knew it would be popular, but not THAT popular!), we're all stocked up again! 🍞🥐

PLUS, we have had a delivery of Claypath Delicatessen's delicious focaccia 🥖 this morning - available for £3 for a quarter or £10 for a whole loaf. Believe us when we say that the loaves are HUGE!

So come along and get yours before they sell out! We're here until 4:30pm today, but we're also open tomorrow from 10am until 4pm, as it's the City of Durham Show - back after a 25-year break!

We are beyond excited to announce that, from tomorrow, we will be stocking a tempting selection of breads from Claypath Delicatessen 🙌

Think artisan sourdough breads and speciality loaves 🍞, beautifully flaky croissants 🥐, indulgent pains au chocolat and delicious focaccia... all freshly baked right here in Durham. 😍

We’ll initially have a small number of each bake available while we introduce this exciting new addition to our range, so we highly recommend getting here early if you want to be among the first to get your hands on them! As we settle into our new routine and expand our offering, the exact selection available may vary, giving you even more delicious reasons to keep coming back and see what's arrived. 👀

Claypath Deli is home to Durham's only sourdough bakery, with everything baked fresh on site. The quality is top-notch, and we can not wait to start stocking their wonderful bakes!

🍂🧀 The ‘Ber months have arrived… which means we can officially start eating food that reminds us of Christmas! 🎄

And this gorgeous Cranberry and Orange Peel cheese is the perfect place to begin. Packed with juicy cranberries and bright, zesty pieces of spiced orange peel, it brings together sweet, tangy and gently warming flavours in one deliciously festive cheese.

It’s beautiful served with crackers, a tasty addition to an autumn cheeseboard… and an excellent excuse to start planning those Christmas cheese selections. Too soon? Never! 😉

Well, we must say, you have been LOVING the irresistible new treats from The Sawley Kitchen, haven't you? So much so that not only have we had to restock less than two weeks after receiving the original order, but we've also decided to expand the range to keep up with demand!

Along with the original flavours of shortbread we stocked, we now also have:

Then get ready for some additional tempting treats in the form of their enormous, cloud-like meringues, as we've expanded this range too. We now also have:
