What’s the secret ingredient in exceptional coffee?

It starts beneath the surface 🤎

Healthy, nutrient-rich soil provides the perfect environment for coffee plants to thrive, helping to produce beans with incredible flavour and quality.

That’s why our Organic certified coffee is grown using farming practices that care for the land, protect biodiversity and support healthier ecosystems for future generations 🌱🌎

Because when we look after the earth, it rewards us with exceptional coffee.

Every great cup begins from the ground up.

Every exceptional cup begins with exceptional people ✨

When we talk about our new specialty coffee, it’s easy to focus on flavour, equipment or barista training.

But none of it would be possible without the skilled farming communities in Peru and Honduras who grow and harvest the coffee beans with care and expertise.

Their knowledge has often been passed down through generations, and their dedication to quality is reflected in every cup we serve.

At Bakers + Baristas, we’re proud to source Fairtrade and Organic certified coffee because we believe supporting farming communities is just as important as delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Behind every espresso, flat white and cappuccino is a story of craftsmanship, commitment and collaboration.

It’s a reminder that great coffee is never the work of one person, it’s the result of a global community working together to create something exceptional.
Next time you enjoy a great coffee, what part of its journey do you find most fascinating, the farm, the roasting process or the skill of the barista?

It’s the welcoming smile behind the counter.

Over the past 18 months, we’ve invested in every part of that journey, so every visit to Bakers + Baristas is one to enjoy.

Great coffee begins with healthy ecosystems 🌿

As part of our new specialty coffee proposition, we chose to source organic certified coffee because sustainability and quality go hand in hand.

Organic farming supports biodiversity, promotes healthier soils and reduces reliance on synthetic pesticides, helping to create a more resilient environment for future generations of coffee growers.

For Bakers + Baristas, Organic certification isn’t simply about meeting a standard it’s about supporting farming practices that align with our values while delivering exceptional flavour in every cup.

Combined with our Fairtrade certification and partnership with World Land Trust, it’s another step in our commitment to creating a coffee experience that’s as responsible as it is enjoyable 💚

Because we believe every cup should have a positive impact from the farm to our stores.

How important is sustainability when making purchasing decisions? We’d love to hear your thoughts! 💭
