Very Many Thanks to all for supporting our fundraising efforts for Nepal!

Tonight's Cafe Lock-In event raised an amazing £1027.32, bringing our grand total from all fundraising events to £2168.58.

This money will go an amazingly long way in Nepal and will be distributed between our contacts there to help towards the feeding, medical care, school supplies and other local needs that they have.

We look forward to sharing updates with you on our return 😀

Our Cafe Lock-In event is coming up on Sat 5th Sep!

There will be coffee, cakes, board games and Bingo!!! (games are optional!)

Please note that it is cash donations only and all donations will go directly to various projects happening on the ground in Nepal, including feeding and medical care for those who could otherwise not afford it !

The Cafe will be open for normal trading prior to the event from 10am-4pm. The event will start at 4.30pm!

We hope to see lots of you there .

Update! Thanks to everyone for an excellent walk and dip and for helping us raise around £500 (final figures tbc)

A few of the brave DCF Sunday School kids and some of their friends (plus a few nutty adults !) are doing a sponcered fancy dress walk and (optional) dip off the pier tomorrow (Wednesday 5th August)!

We are starting at the Lonmore Church and walking through the village, finishing down at Lochside... so if anyone in the village sees us passing and has any spare change they would like to donate we will have a collection tin ready !

The money raised for the walk will go directly to buying school supplies for children who have next to nothing in a mountain village in Hetauda, Nepal.

Update!!!

We are back open today and with our usual hours of 10am-4pm Mondays , Fridays and Saturdays!

Just an additional note that we have had to increase our prices slightly due to the increasing costs of everything. We have kept these increases as minimal as possible and we still have our Community Specails available every day all day for residents of IV55/IV56 (Tea or Long Black with selected bake for £3.80 and kids juice and snack for £1.65 )

We also have some pay it forward options available for anyone needing a bit of help, just ask at the till.
