The Fly-By Cafe opened in April 2024 at The London Gliding Club in Dunstable and is run by sisters, Kelly & Hayley, and along with their team will give you a very warm and friendly welcome!

We’re sorry it’s been a little quiet on our socials lately but we have been busy behind the scenes.

We are just letting you all know that Kelly will shortly be stepping down from the cafe. Kelly took the cafe on back in March 2024 and has been instrumental in making it what it is today but she is going on to pastures new going back into more of her healthcare background working for a local charity.

Hayley, who has been working together with Kelly in partnership since September 2025, will manage the cafe with our team and it will remain open as usual and continue to serve you all.

As Kelly is leaving us, we will no longer be doing Afternoon Teas with immediate effect. If you have any vouchers for one of these, please get in touch and we can arrange something for you.

We will keep you updated on things as they go but we look forward to our new chapter!

Just a small business shout out to The Barnyard following our family visit yesterday for surprise birthday celebrations!

The family team there were so welcoming and accommodating and became part of our family fun while we spent a few hours there.

The venue is a special darts facility where you can visit generally, hire the VIP area or private hire for groups up to 20.

We had such a fun afternoon and thoroughly recommend the venue! Hayley even got a bullseye she was very proud off!!

☀️In view of the red temperature warning and extreme heat in the restaurant and kitchen we will be making some slight changes tomorrow and will update for Thursday to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff and visitors:

⏱️Cafe will be open 8am and will close at 2pm.

🧑‍🍳All hot equipment will be turned off at 12pm to reduce additional heat as it gets hotter throughout day.

🥪From 12pm a lighter limited menu (sandwiches, baguettes, rolls, wraps, salads (no chicken) jacket potatoes) will be available only.

Today’s the day!! Our Megan takes to the skies to jump out of a plane!! She is due to do her skydive about 1-2pm!

We’re very proud of her and what she is doing for a wonderful cause so close to our hearts!
