I’d like to say a huge thank you to my staff and support for all their hard work. Opening night of the England World Cup campaign has been weeks in planning. The last two days we’ve tirelessly worked to get the pub and beer garden ready to host the best show we can.

Jonny Murray you are a professional mate. Glad to have you on our team always 👌🏻Gerry Logue your technical support is always very appreciated, you are so good at what you do 💪🏼

We had an 85” tv outside with sound pumped out there from inside. We had stadium style line up and goal announcements. The fish and chip van served everyone before the game and at halftime. We had music, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 trivia, prizes, beer offers! An outdoor bar 💪🏼 and we opened very late for our customers.

I hope that everyone who came enjoyed our hospitality, the feedback was amazing and it was my absolute pleasure to host you all.

The next one is Tuesday 23rd June against Ghana. We have some ticket availability and I urge you all to choose us for your best World Cup experience.

The World Cup at The Oddfellows Arms!

We will of course be showing every televised match during opening hours. But more importantly we will be following England all the way to the final 💪🏼 first stop though is the group stages. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

So that we know how many people to expect and to make sure everyone is comfortable and has a seat we are operating ticketed seats. Each ticket will guarantee you/your group a seat and a table or a seat at the bar. Tickets are just £10 each however that does entitle you to 2 free drinks at the bar. So depending on your drink this might actually save you some money. If you book a seat for all 3 group games then you can have a “season ticket” for only £25.

We will have a huge screen in the beer garden which will be seated on a first come first served basis. Walk ins will not get a seat, however standing room will be available.

For each game we will also have a live DJ!!! Jonny will be with us and will play us up to the national anthems, a short halftime set and then after the games until closing. He’ll have some football trivia, stadium style line up announcements including substitutions and there may just be a small party every time we score 👌🏻Jonny Murray

It will be happy hour during every England game. Expect our regular drinks deals and deals on jugs and shots on the night. Fizz will also be only £16 for the ladies.

So, get your squad together and get booking asap, we were completely overwhelmed for the euros so don’t be left out for the World Cup 2026 at The Oddfellows Arms.

This Sunday 14th is one of my favourite days of the month. Every 2nd Sunday between 4 and 7pm an amazing group of musicians gather to play an amazing Irish traditional music session.

It gets very busy from 3:30pm onwards but we always do our very best to make everyone comfortable.

You’d all be very welcome players and listeners.
