CaterCare’s Planned Preventative Maintenance contracts provide structured, professional care for your commercial catering equipment—with a choice of one or two planned visits per year, tailored to your kitchen and equipment.

BRONZE PPM — ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE

Our entry-level option helps support your equipment maintenance, safety and compliance responsibilities.

Regular inspection, operational checks and reporting can identify developing faults, support safer operation and reduce the risk of avoidable breakdowns.

Breakdown call-outs, labour and parts are charged separately as required.

SILVER PPM — ADDED PROTECTION

All the benefits of planned maintenance, plus up to 10 covered breakdown visits during the contract term—including attendance, diagnosis and reasonable labour.

Ideal for kitchens wanting dependable support and greater control over unexpected labour costs.

GOLD PPM — OUR HIGHEST LEVEL OF COVER

Planned maintenance with unlimited covered breakdown attendance and reasonable labour during the contract term.

Designed for busy commercial kitchens where equipment reliability is vital and unexpected labour costs need to be kept under greater control.

Every option includes:

• An agreed schedule of all equipment covered by the contract.
• Planned inspections and operational checks of covered equipment.
• Accessible cleaning, adjustment and testing where appropriate.
• Clear maintenance and equipment-condition reports.
• Practical advice on faults, safety concerns and recommended remedial work.
• Identification of equipment approaching the end of its serviceable life.
• Advice and quotations for suitable replacement catering equipment.
• Gas inspection and certification where applicable and expressly included.

Replacement parts, materials and excluded work are quoted separately.

Another servery project completed in Luton.

We recently completed the replacement of a long-serving servery counter for one of our customers in Luton.

Their existing servery had served them well for over 20 years, but the time had come for a replacement that would retain the practical layout and functionality they were familiar with, while bringing a fresh, modern feel.

Working alongside Victor Manufacturing, a new bespoke stainless steel servery was designed specifically to replace the existing arrangement and make the best possible use of the available space.

The finished servery incorporates a multi-function Bain Marie offering both wet and dry heat operation, a hot cupboard with gantry featuring dimmable halogen heat lamps, ambient storage, till and countertop equipment locations with dedicated electrical service sockets, stainless steel kick plinths, integrated slim jim bin storage and a sleek tray slide formed directly into the countertop.

Careful planning ahead of the installation meant the existing servery could be removed and the new counter installed and completed within the same day, keeping disruption to the site to a minimum.

We’re extremely pleased with how this one came together — and, most importantly, the customer was equally impressed with the finished result.
It’s a clean, practical and modern replacement for a servery that had given them more than two decades of service, and we hope the new installation serves them just as well for many years to come!

Another successful bespoke warewashing installation completed for Fit N Fresh Protein Bars, Luton.

We were recently approached to provide a quotation for a fully bespoke warewashing setup for their new larger premises.

Following a detailed site survey and consultation with the client to understand their operational requirements and workflow, we designed a complete tailored solution to meet their needs.

Our proposal included full-scale drawings, layout illustrations and a bespoke design package featuring:

• Classeq passthrough dishwasher
• Bespoke inlet sink unit with Slim Jim bin recess
• Basket runner system and undershelves for added storage.
• Sink bowl with Mechline Aquajet pre-rinse system and bowl filling faucet
• European WaterCare external automatic cold feed water softener
• Bespoke outlet clean table
• Purpose-profiled fabrication designed specifically around the Classeq machine.

Following approval, we returned to site to liaise closely with the electrical and plumbing contractors to ensure all services were correctly positioned and ready for a seamless installation. Once completed, our team returned to supply, install and commission the full system.

Projects like this are always enjoyable to be involved with, particularly when we can help create a practical, efficient workspace designed specifically around the client’s operation.

Another fantastic bespoke kitchen project completed by CaterCare Catering Equipment Ltd..

We were incredibly excited to be chosen to design, supply and install the brand new commercial kitchen for the recently opened Old Town Bistro in Beaconsfield.

Working within an older building came with its own unique challenges, including awkward wall angles and the requirement to incorporate a large amount of existing equipment into the new layout. After providing a preliminary design and layout plan, we worked closely with the customer to create a fully bespoke kitchen perfectly tailored to both the space and the operational needs of the business.

This exciting project included equipment from leading brands including Blueseal, Lincat, Parry, Maidaid Halcyon, Tefcold, Mechline, European WaterCare and Manitowoc, alongside a large amount of custom fabricated stainless steel furniture.

The installation featured:

Bespoke prep and hand wash sink units.
Custom cutlery drawer systems profiled to suit Blueseal equipment.
Bespoke hot cupboard with heated gantry.
Bespoke preparation benches with ambient gantries and fridge recesses.
Custom salamander grill bench system.
Fully equipped warewashing area with Maidaid passthrough dishwasher.
Aquajet pre-rinse system & automatic water softener.
Bespoke clean and dirty table systems. Bespoke shelving throughout.
Installation of cooking equipment, refrigeration, ice machine and existing Rational combi oven.

Another successful bespoke install completed.

After being informed by our customer that they were struggling with preparation space due to increased business, we designed and supplied a fully bespoke stainless steel bench unit complete with a two-tier ambient gantry and recessed under section to maximise both workspace and storage.

As part of the project, we also supplied:
• 2x undercounter fridges
• 1x undercounter freezer
• A second two-tier ambient gantry fitted to an existing bench

The result is a practical, space-efficient preparation area tailored perfectly to the customer’s kitchen requirements.

Recent warewashing Installation:
We were recently asked to replace an outdated and faulty passthrough dishwasher at one of the Simmons Bakers sites we support.

The Challenge:
Limited space, existing pipework, and an ageing machine that needed upgrading.

Our Solution:

• External water softener system
