Last Saturday a very special couple came in. Philip Grundie, who was born in the flat above the pub, and his wife Susan. They brought in a photograph and an old placemat from back when his parents had the lease.

It was amazing to see how the facade of the building has changed and to hear how he remembered the pub and the town itself before he moved away to Canada 🇨🇦

Thanks again for coming in, we hope to see you back soon!
