We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Assistant to join our team!
Duties will include:
•Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, ensuring a positive dining experience.
•Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines.
•Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, applying basic maths skills for billing.
•Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
•Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
•Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times.
•Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Qualifications:
•Previous experience in a Fish And Chip Shop is essential.
•Reliable and committed to the role.
•Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
•Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
•Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
•Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently when required.
•A passion for food preparation and customer service is essential.
