Seaway Chip Shop is looking for members of staff to join its team on a full-time basis, with hours to be agreed (evenings and weekends will be included).
Seaway Chip Shop is a long established family run business which strives to provide high quality produce and good customer service. Seaway has a small close-knit team with a family feel.
The right candidates will have experience within a catering/hospitality environment or a willingness to learn. Training will be provided.
The candidate would be responsible for all aspects of food preparation and service working as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment where communication is key.
Role and responsibilities may include:-
• Customer service
• Rumbling and chipping potatoes
• Batter production
• Preparation of fish and other chip shop produce
• Range management
• Frying fish, chips and other produce
• Food safety and hygiene
• General cleaning duties
• Stock control
• Supplier management
• Staff and rota management
• Order management
• Cash handling and till management

The successful candidate will require to be confident working under pressure and be able to support the owners’ direction for the business.
