So today Robbie and I were chatting, we like most of hospitality have been struggling a wee bit - just Dundee and the wee Selkie.
It was one of those - we need a sign! And my Gosh did you guys bring us a sign. We even opened Edna up to host.

I am so thankful to every single person who rammed this wee shop - we had a queue out the door most of the night. The kitchen was madness and we genuinly ran out of some food.
But the vibe, we had customers going to a concert signing along, we had people going to book readings, we had customers from Spain , America , Denmark and Americans.

It was everything The Selkie was every about - was it perfect no and I’m genuinly sorry about some of the waits. But it absolutely proved to me that this shop has heart..

Thank you for everything and thank you for giving me back my faith in the wee Exchange street shop.

✨✨to avoid confusion this isn’t The Selkie it’s our event space two doors up - we had a wee cake shop there but it didn’t work out. The Selkie is very much alive and well. ✨✨

Hi folks after much consideration we have decided that we just don’t have the time and resource to build what we had planned in Edna-Mae.
It’s a cute little shop in Exchange Street and has full permission and would be ideal as a hairdresser or beauty therapist.
It does have permission as a cake shop to and seats around 18.
No licence and no facilities for one.
We are open to
Someone buying the lease and fittings
Someone subletting for a period of time
Pop-up shops with a weekly rent

It would make a beautiful lifestyle shop, clothing shop or hairdresser…

Brunch Club is Back - group Chats at the ready.

June 14th marks the 5th anniversary of our infamous brunch parties so we thought we should celebrate in the only way we know …

When we started these were a break from the madness of Covid and basically a wee time out . We have managed to keep the same team Billy Morris and William - Patrick, added a sax player and dancers and always kept the magic alive.
