Whilst the days get colder, the days darker, we’re still here with the same smile and craic (on occasion I think we’d top East Lothian for best patter).. dare someone to challenge us. 👀 Anyways, pop in to see us!

Helloooo weekend 🤩

It’s Friday evening and we’re currently sticking our Halloween decorations up and I’ve somehow managed to find time to stick this post up.

Anyways, we’re business as normal here at the SY! Spotify jams currently on and Emily’s tunes are questionable. (Here’s Emily keeping busy)

We’ve got our weekly live music Saturday evening with Mike Cullen at 8pm. Pop along and see him, it’s his first outing here at the yard 🎸😎

On our guest taps we still have a couple b**rs left over from Oktoberfest. Currently pouring is the Smoked Marzen & Roggenbier.

Spooky Season is here (well basically) 🎃

Our monthly pub quiz we’ll be doing a Halloween special. Have you booked a table yet?! £5 cash entry per team, £2.50 towards the jackpot and £2.50 towards our chosen charity Reverse Retts.

On Halloween during the afternoon, early evening we’ll have some treats for the kids if you’re out and about. If you’re popping in for a drink yourself and hot chocolates for the wee yins.

Then 7pm-11pm we’re hosting our very own Karaoke, always a hit but an added bonus of fancy dress! And even a prize for best dressed 🏆 🕷️🎃

Now that’s our last festival of the year over and done with, thank you to everyone who came along despite the usual Scottish weather 🙏🏼

The colder/darker evenings are upon us which means our fire will slowly start being used again 🔥🤩

We’re still doing our usual weekly live music on Saturdays, monthly quiz and open mic. Did you know we’re even doing a fancy dress Halloween karaoke on the 31st? So come see us🕷️🎃

Day 2 of Oktoberfest and I can confirm it’s a day of sunshine, repeat a day of sunshine. Some reports say 16 degrees today, some 15.. in our books that’s b**r garden weather.

It’s the last festival of the year for us as we’re all retiring, nah kidding but it is the last one for 2026 so get oot and come enjoy the weekend we’ve put on for you lovely lot.

Two food trucks over the weekend with Fatboys having their first outing this way Friday & Sunday! The guys have wraps, burgers, hot dogs, loaded fries and even munchie boxes to share. ClanCape serving up Saturday with their class menu

We’ve got the steins ready, bring yer lederhosen’s 😆
