It’s incredibly difficult to put this moment into words…
Tonight, we watch the fire go out for the final time at La Dolce Vita, Irish Street. ❤️🔥
It’s an emotional moment — but it’s also the beginning of something incredibly exciting.
For so many years, Irish Street has been our home. Within these walls we’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, first dates, family dinners and countless special occasions. We’ve watched friendships grow, families return year after year and familiar faces become part of the La Dolce Vita family.
This fire has burned through thousands of busy services, and as it fades for the final time, we can’t help but think of all the laughter, noise, celebrations and memories that have filled this restaurant.
To every customer who has walked through our doors, and every member of our team — past and present — thank you. You made Irish Street what it was. ❤️
But this isn’t goodbye to La Dolce Vita.
Far from it. This is our next chapter. 🇮🇹✨
We’re incredibly excited to welcome you to our new home on Whitesands.
A beautifully refurbished restaurant.
Amazing views across the river.
A fresh new setting for new memories to be made.
But while the surroundings may be changing, the things that matter most aren’t going anywhere.
The same people.
The same food.
The same warm welcome.
The same La Dolce Vita you know and love. ❤️
We’re taking everything that made Irish Street special with us — the atmosphere, the friendships, the passion, the laughter and, most importantly, our wonderful team and customers.
So tonight, as one fire goes out, another is ready to be lit. 🔥
We’re sad to close the door on Irish Street, but we couldn’t be more excited about what lies ahead.
