It’s time to share details of our ASN Santa experience.
Going by my lived experience as a mum who could never attend a Santa with my Jack for many reasons I’ve came up with a Santa experience that I hope will suit as many as possible. I’m well aware it’s not going to suit everyone though, so I’m all ears on how to make this better!
Our ASN Santa experience is 1-2-1 with a Santa who has experience with ASN children!
It’s a donation based, 10 minute slot in which time you can take as many pictures as you want. There’s no age limit, if your child/person will enjoy a Santa visit, they are welcome! Your child can stim, can run around can do whatever they want! There is zero expectation and zero need to conform with how a traditional Santa visit goes.
When you book you will commit to bring down a gift for your child. Either wrapped or unwrapped, to the value of approx £15, that our Santa will give to your child. (This one’s a big one for me, as fear of the unexpected was always what stopped us from visiting a Santa… you tell Santa what you want to why is he giving me some random tat… I totally hear you Jack and hopefully you’ll make it easier for some kids this year!)
There’s no limit to how many folk you want to bring, bring all yer grannies, cousins etc, we get it’s a big deal.
You will have 10 mins. You don’t need to stay for that, it’s totally up to yous! I’d ask that this time however does include any drinks/cakes etc so that the next slot runs smoothly for the next person!
We hope to make this as amazing as I always wanted for my kids! I get it’s never easy, but hopefully this is something that can be enjoyed by everyone.
