We are overwhelmed with the support and well wishes we have received since we first mentioned that we were hanging up our aprons. A very bittersweet day today as we close our doors for the final time.

A huge thank you to everyone that ever visited the Gossip Shop and a special thank you to those that gave us cards and gifts. It just goes to show how wonderful our customers truly are - it’s very touching!

We are looking forward to retirement but we will miss seeing all of your faces.

We’ve enjoyed 43 years on Dumbarton High Street and it’s with a heavy heart that we are now looking to pass on the business.

It’s been a labour of love for all these years and the Gossip Shop has been at the centre on our family for decades but retirement calls and it’s now time for a long over due break. We’re so grateful for all of our customers over the years old and new - they come in as customers and leave as friends.

Were looking for someone to take over the Gossips, whether you continue as is or turn it into your own haven for family and friends. We’d love to pass the coffee pot on and not see the doors closed permanently.
