Local bear caught red-pawed… face-first in this week’s cake selection 😳
Witnesses say he “came in for a polite cream tea” and 3 slices and a few scones later… well… things escalated quickly.
Can you blame him though? 👇
☕ Proper cream teas (cream first… obviously 😉)
🍓 Fluffy scones loaded with clotted cream and jam
🍰 Cakes so good you’ll forget your manners too
We won’t judge if you skip the fork. The bear didn’t.
And don’t even ask about how he ate those sandwiches…

Pop in this week ( open Tuesday to Saturday from 09:00 until 16:00) to see what all the fuss (and crumbs) is about… just maybe eat slightly more gracefully 🐾😆

Hello. Just a note to say a huge thank you to so many of you coming to see us at the Copper Kettle over the past 3 months. Your patience and support whilst we settle into the normal pace of things has been fantastic - so thank you very much!!

Stevie, Som, Caroline and the rest of the behind the scenes team will be taking a break from the 1st of February and reopening on the 17th of February. We are going to do some more titivating to the Kettle, we will be looking at some new menu items for the spring and summer, collect some more teapots to join our eclectic collection and generally have a potter around... and a break before the busyness of Spring is upon us.

We are so very delighted by your feedback thus far and look forward to the next few months and just sneaking in a little break...

Just a quick update re our opening times over the next couple of weeks

Tuesday 23rd 09:00 to 16:00
Wednesday 24th 09:00 to 15:00
Christmas Day - closed until Tuesday 6th January

Look forward to seeing you between now and Christmas or in the New Year
