📚 SOMETHING SPECIAL IS COMING TO NEMO’S THIS CHRISTMAS… ❤️

We know Christmas is still a little way away, but we’re getting started early because this is something we really want to make special. 🎄📚

We’re putting together a little community bookshelf at Nemo’s, where children will be able to pick a book completely FREE, swap a book, or simply donate one for another child to enjoy.

And this is where YOU can help us make it happen. ❤️

📖 Have a children’s bookshelf you no longer need?
📖 Have children’s books at home that have been loved but are ready for a new home?
📖 Want to donate a few books for local children to enjoy?

Please get in touch with us, or feel free to bring them down to Nemo’s. All children’s books are welcome!

Everything is being prepared ready for the Christmas month, and once the bookshelf goes LIVE, it will be completely community-run and completely FREE.

You can take a book, swap a book or donate a book. There’s no catch. ❤️

And we don’t want the story to end when Christmas does…

📚 Any books left after Christmas and into the New Year will be donated on behalf of the Nemo’s community, whether that’s to a local charity or children’s hospital, so they can continue to be enjoyed and handed out for free.

At Nemo’s, we want to do more than just serve good food. We want to bring our community together, encourage reading, inspire learning and give the next generation something positive to grow with. ❤️

It was an absolute pleasure supplying your wonderful 1940s & 1950s themed quiz night with plenty of delicious cod and chips, freshly prepared with our signature family recipe batter! 🐟🍟

We even had our team come in especially for the evening, and moments like this genuinely make us so happy. Being part of our local community and helping bring people together over great food is something we’re incredibly grateful for.

Thank you for trusting Nemo’s, for your continued support and for all the lovely comments. It truly means so much to our family. ❤️

We look forward to feeding you all again very soon!

❤️ A VERY SPECIAL DAY FOR THE NEMO’S FAMILY ❤️

We’re closed again today as the Punjabi wedding celebrations continue… because if you know Punjabi weddings, you’ll know they don’t exactly last for a weekend! 😂

But today is the big day. Today, two souls become one as one of our youngest sisters gets married to her soulmate at the Gurdwara. 🙏🏽❤️

Today is all about her and her husband, celebrating the beginning of their new journey together. Tomorrow, the celebrations continue with a huge party as both families come together to celebrate them properly! 🥳❤️

And if you see the shutters open at Nemo’s today… unfortunately, we’re NOT open 😂 Our amazing staff are actually in there prepping food for two events that we promised we would fulfil, so the shop may be closed, but Nemo’s hasn’t stopped moving! 👀🍟

Thank you so much for understanding and for all the lovely messages and congratulations. ❤️

We’ll be back Monday, back to our normal opening hours, ready to feed you all again! 😂🍟
