⚠️ Disappointing News ⚠️
Sadly, someone has come onto our car park and taken one of our benches.
We have CCTV footage showing exactly what happened, including the time of the incident and the vehicle registration, so we know who was involved.
We’re asking for the bench to be returned as soon as possible. We’d much rather resolve this amicably, but if it is not returned, we will have no option but to report the matter to the police.
This is incredibly upsetting. We have worked so hard to improve The Lamp Tavern and create a welcoming place for everyone to enjoy. This particular bench was positioned so parents could comfortably watch their children playing in the play area, making it a safer environment for families.
It’s heartbreaking to think that someone would simply help themselves to something that has been provided for the benefit of our customers and community.
Please do the right thing and return it. No questions asked if it is brought back promptly.
